Heal yourself by yourself

the human body is always working to maintain homeostasis in its attempt to maintain this equilibrium, a variety of processes must work together as everything is connectd. however, if one area is out of balance. the body may overcompensate, causing yet another imbalance , and so on. over time, these can lead to major health concerns. the good news is you can help support your body in its attempt to maintain balance. once you're aware of the factors you're exposed to that may affect your health, you can look for ways to support balance and facilitate healing.
as Joshua Rosenthal, MScED, mentions, there are three areas in which imbalances are likely to manifest genetic predispositions , environment factors, and lifestyle factors. use the following exercise to evaluate how an imbalance in each of these areas may affect your health and explore actions for restoring balance.

GENETIC PREDISPOSITIONS
This refers to health conditions that are common in your family, which put you more at risk for the same conditions. this information can be used to your advantage. for example,if you know your family has a strong history of lung cancer, you may decide to avoid cigarettes to help reduce your risk.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
This refers to what you are exposed to in your environment may either contribute to health barrier. for example, living in a heavily polluted city may make you more susceptible to respiratory conditions.

LIFESTYLE FACTORS

This refers to how you live your life - for example. the foods you eat or how often you exercise.
